Policies
New Client Policy:
We ask that new clients who haven’t filled out their forms electronically arrive 15 minutes prior to their service to do so. If you do not arrive 15 minutes before your service, the time it takes to fill out consent forms will be deducted from your total service time. Please keep in mind our lash specialists will likely have other appointments after yours. We will always do our best to accommodate you.
Booking Policy:
Appointments booked require a deposit of 50% to secure your spot.
Late Policy:
If you are running late to an appointment we ask that you call us to let us know, otherwise we will assume you will not be showing up and may release the appointment. If you are less than 15 minutes late we will try our best to make your lashes as full as possible in the time allotted. You will still be charged full price. If you are more than 15 minutes late we will try our best to accommodate you but reserve the right to reschedule your appointment if we are unable to.
Cancellation Policy:
We understand unforeseen events happen and you may need to cancel or reschedule an appointment. We ask that you give us 24 hours notice so we can adjust our schedule to accommodate other clients. In the event 24 hours notice is not given, you will be charged 100% of the service booked.
No Show Policy:
A "no show" will result in a full charge of service booked. After 2 no shows you will not be able to book an appointment unless it is paid in full at time of booking. Absolutely no refunds.
Guest Policy:
Please, no guests in the treatment rooms. Eyelash extensions take a lot of concentration and we ask that there are no distractions in the room. We reserve the right to cancel/reschedule an appointment in the event anyone other than the client is present and in which case our cancellation policy may take effect.
Makeup Policy:
Please thoroughly remove all makeup before coming to your lash session. Eyes must be clean and oil free upon arrival. We are unable to properly adhere semi-permanent lash extensions on lashes that have makeup/residue buildup. Wearing any makeup to your appointment WILL affect your retention and in more serious cases, it can lead to irritation and infection.
Age Policy:
Clients must be at least 16 years or older to receive services. Minors under age 18 must have parent/guardian sign all consent forms.
Cell Phone Policy:
We ask that all cell phones are turned off or placed in “Do Not Disturb” in the treatment rooms. If you are receiving a lash session, we ask that you do not open your eyes to check devices until after your session is complete. Our lash specialists are using sharp tweezers, adhesive and other items near the delicate eye area, which may cause injury if you move or open your eyes during your session.
Lash Fill Policies:
If more of your lashes are detached or grown out than stated below, it will be considered a new full set.
2 Week Fills: No more than 50% loss of initial set, and must be within 14 days of previous appointment.
3 Week Fills: No more than 75% loss of initial set, and must be within 21 days of previous appointment.
Anything longer than 21 days will require a new full set. Even if you have good lash retention, you need maintenance at least once a month to ensure your lashes are happy and healthy.
Foreign Fill Policy:
Every lash artist has lots of creative freedom when creating sets for clients. It is very difficult to adequately match lash curl, diameter, dimension, length and map design, so foreign fills will be reviewed on a case by case basis. If we don’t feel like we can properly replicate your current set, we may suggest a removal and a full set, and you will be charged accordingly.
Guarantee:
Onyx and Emerald Lash Bar takes great pride in the work we do. If you have concerns with the service you received, let us know within 48 hours and we will fix it to your satisfaction at no extra charge. This is a policy we are proud to offer!
